Genea is a Family History and Genealogy website that includes genealogical services and ecommerce transactions.

If a subscriber chooses to use the “forward to a friend” link in the email update sent from our Site, it will allow the Subscriber to share the email content; however, the friend’s email will not be added to the Distribution List and their email address is not stored either on this Site or via Mailchimp.

Information is shared with third-party providers that aid in the operation of this Site. Third-party providers provide website and application development, hosting maintenance, backup, storage, virtual infrastructure, payment processing, analysis and other services which may require them to access information on our Site.

If required or authorised by law, we may also share your information for other purposes.

5. Email Subscribers

Our Site offers functionality allowing you to subscribe to receive updates of when new public articles are posted on to our Site. You will only receive an email if you subscribe to receive it. If you change your mind, you will always have an option to unsubscribe.

If you are a Customer and have an account on the Site, you can view and edit your personal information by logging into your account. Please ensure that your account profile is kept up to date.

If you are unable to do it yourself on the Site, you can contact us at any time to request access to and/or correction of your personal information. Should we not be able to meet your request for any reason, we will write back to you and explain why.
